Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel

The hotel is situated in a perfect location, just minutes from the lake. The breakfast options were somewhat limited for our taste.

Exceptionally comfortable bed in the superior king room, plus an electric kettle, a mini-fridge-bar, and an air conditioning. Overall excellent location really close to restaurants and cafes and the central market place.

everything was perfect, very good service, amazing location just off the night market and food stalls/restaurant, the old quarter close to hoan kiem lake, and all shops. airy room and spotless, with a multi-channel television, ironing facilities, and a study table.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the lake, and the room was both spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent, and breakfast offered delicious options. The staff provided really good service, arranged airport transfers and local tours.

The curtains didn't block light well.

The rooms are very, very clean and the staff is exceptionally attentive. They are very helpful and when questions arose, they were always very keen to help us. . The breakfast is also great! There is something for everyone and you can also order a la carte extra pancakes or egg etc. in addition to the buffet. The location is perfect to discover the Old Quarter. Despite the central location it was very quiet at night. We immediately extended for more nights!

The staff was wonderfully attentive, helping arrange trips to Ha Long Bay and providing amazing recommendations. The spacious, clean room offered a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Old Quarter.

I have been told that the rooms facing street can be a bit noisy because of traffic, but higher floor ones are fine.

THe staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Beds hard but I think that is the standard throughout Vietnam. Would highly recommend this hotel.

excellent location, great air conditioning, smart TV

The lake view isn't really a lake view!!! The rooms feel outdated, with odd decor!!! The photos on the website are misleading, presenting a nicer image than reality!!!

The room was well decorated and brand-new and the view of the lake was great. There were a mini bar, satellite TV and climate control if needed. The location was excellent, for example, French Quarter was at a short distance from the hotel. There was a good restaurant at a moderate distance from the venue.

The area was uncomfortable.

The staff at this hotel are the friendliest I have ever come across. Always willing to help, asking how our day was and if there was anything they could do to help us. Really really brilliant. If I go back to Hanoi I will most certainly stay here again. The location is brilliant, in the heart of the old town, but the hotel was quiet - and some cheap and nice restaurants nearby.

Nothing. The beds were quite hard to sleep on - but it wouldnt prevent me from staying there again.

the friendly receptionists are always helpful and informative

the room was not cleaned properly. most surfaces were quite dusty. the shower is very basic and difficult, more like a place for a guesthouse than hotel.
